Worked on the branding, design, curation and consumer-facing experience for the first-ever brick-and-mortar store for Copenhagen chewing tobacco in Nashville, TN. This is both where the product originated in 1822, being grown just down the road in Hopkinsville, KY, and manufactured in Nashville. This allows the store exclusive access to the freshest product available.
Over an intensive 15 months, a premium retail experience was brought to life with a fully custom vertical can dispenser, period-correct decor and murals, a museum dedicated to the history of Copenhagen and tobacco farming in the region, as well as a high-end lounge and tasting room (requiring identification). Visitors have full access to knowledgeable BAs to enrich their tour.
The museum component features 6 interactive engagements including an exhibit dedicated to harvesting tools, a vertical green house for tobacco seedlings, an authentic tobacco racking station, dark fire curing VR, and a collection of historic Copenhagen artifacts dating back to 1822 and up to the modern era.
